| Anita Rich was born in Devon, England, and has traveled around the world, living for extended periods in England, The Channel Islands, the Caribbean. For the last 10 years she has made her home in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Anita is a long time artist, painter, and photographer who has worked in many different styles. Her talent, and her gifted eye, brings out the life and soul of the subjects of her art. She is a perfectionist, dedicated and hardworking, unrelenting in obtaining the best quality in all of her work.
Starting in 2005, Anita and Robin Dallenbach formed a partnership. Anita began to photograph NASCAR drivers, team owners, and personalities in relaxed settings with their families, while Robin used her extensive knowledge, connections and friendships within the racing community to provide access to the stars and personalities in the sport. In 2008, this work was published in their first book, Portraits of NASCAR. The book was released at the 50th running of the Daytona 500.
Anita's work is unique and timeless, a work of art. She does fewer photo shoots these days, preferring to select her projects carefully. Her work is important, and her restless professional eye is always looking for a challenging and fulfilling subject. She has been happily married for 23 years to her husband Jody, and has 2 beautiful children, Ashley and John.
